  The Essipit cruise was fantastic. The staff tried exceedingly hard with their English translation, (which was a million times better than my French!) and were friendly and wonderful throughout the trip. We saw breaching Beluga and Minke whales as well as grey seals. Fantastic experience wholeheartedly recommended!

  Zodiacs are the best option for whale watching. Great view, knowledgeable guide, good customer service and easy to reach from Tadoussac.

  Amazing day, and amazing lucky whale watching cruise....for all the other boats. There was a big blue whale swimming around, and all the people from the other boats could watch or even almost touch it! But our captain decided to stay 500 meters far away just to respect the whale environment. If you really want to watch whales close enough, please come here and take any cruise but this one.

  This is a company that, unlike AML, is very respectful towards animals. We were fortunate enough to see two fin whales up close. Shortly after we got there, a bunch of AML boats came and surrounded the whale. Our boat guide let us all get a nice look for a few minutes and then decided to leave; this is important because while it's nice for us humans to get a glimpse of these impressive sea mammals, their feeding is not our entertainment, and while AML cruises can stick around for 10, 15, even 20 minutes so passengers can ooh and aaah at the whales, at Essipit they know a few minutes are enough. I would highly recommend this company over AML.
